ALARM ARCADE

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 5, 2026

Welcome to Alarm Arcade ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application ("App").

Alarm Arcade is operated by an independent individual developer.

TL;DR: Alarm Arcade does not collect or sell personal data for advertising or analytics. Alarm and settings data stays on your device. If you purchase Pro, Apple and RevenueCat process purchase-related information to unlock features.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

Alarm Arcade is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit:

  • Personal information (name, email, phone number)
  • Location data
  • Device identifiers for tracking
  • Usage analytics or crash reports

If you make an in-app purchase or restore purchases, Apple and RevenueCat will process purchase-related information as described below.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data only on your device using iOS UserDefaults (App Group):

  • Alarm settings: Time, label, repeat days, snooze settings, game type, difficulty, and sound preferences
  • App settings: Default alarm preferences, vibration/haptic settings, appearance preferences
  • Widget data: Next alarm information and quick alarm state (shared between app and widgets via App Group)

This data is stored locally and is never transmitted to us or any third party. You can delete this data at any time by deleting the App.

This statement applies to your alarm and settings data, not to App Store purchase processing.

3. Permissions We Request

The App requests the following iOS permissions:

  • Notifications: Required to schedule and display alarm notifications. You can revoke this permission in iOS Settings at any time.
  • Motion & Orientation (for certain games): Used only for the "Shake" and "Tilt Maze" mini-games. This data is processed locally and never transmitted.

All permissions are optional and can be revoked in iOS Settings. The App will continue to function with limited features if permissions are denied.

4. Third-Party Services

Alarm Arcade uses the following third-party services:

  • RevenueCat: Used to manage in-app purchase entitlements (Pro). RevenueCat processes purchase-related information to verify and restore access. We do not receive your payment details.
  • Apple App Store: Standard App Store purchase processing. Apple's privacy policy applies.

We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, or any other data collection services.

5. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

  • Data is protected by iOS device security (Face ID, Touch ID, passcode)
  • Data is stored in the App Group container, accessible only to the App and its widgets
  • Your alarm and settings data is not transmitted over the internet
  • Purchase and restore flows use Apple (and RevenueCat) servers

6. Children's Privacy

Alarm Arcade does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we don't collect any personal information, this is not applicable. The App is safe for users of all ages.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

8. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

  • You can view and modify your alarm data directly in the App
  • You can delete all data by deleting the App
  • You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings
  • You can export your alarms (if supported in future versions)

If you have questions about your data, contact us using the information below.
